Tears in my eyes,
I think of you til morning light.
My heart races and stammers,
Your love nailed into me with a hammer.
Some days my limbs hurt and are stiff.
Wearing your clothes I catch a small whiff.
I long for you to come back someday.
The pain will pass, they all say.
A tear is shed.
Your image always possessing my head.
In the rain, I blow a kiss to you.
No matter what it'll get there--

Each day, the weight lessens.
But no one wants to listen.
